Types Of Air Cushion Films

Types of air cushion films mainly include the following:
Classification by material:
Ordinary polyethylene air cushion film: This is the most common type of air cushion film, made of high-pressure polyethylene, with the characteristics of lightness, transparency and elasticity.
Antistatic air cushion film: Antistatic agent is added to the ordinary polyethylene air cushion film, which is suitable for the packaging of electronic products to prevent static electricity from damaging electronic components.
Flame-retardant air cushion film: It has flame retardant properties and is suitable for packaging of items that require fire protection.
Aluminized air cushion film: The surface is coated with an aluminum layer and is often used in occasions where heat needs to be reflected, such as car sunshades and roof insulation.
Color-printed air cushion film: The surface can be color-printed and is often used for packaging that requires brand display.
Three-layer air cushion film (single-layer bubble) and five-layer air cushion film (double-layer bubble): These air cushion films have a multi-layer structure and provide better cushioning and protection effects.
Polypropylene thickened air cushion film: Made of polypropylene, it has high strength and thickness, suitable for the packaging of heavy items.
Composite pearl cotton air cushion film: It combines the characteristics of pearl cotton and air cushion film to provide better cushioning and protection effects.
Classification by bubble diameter:
Small bubble film: The bubble diameter is 6 mm and below, suitable for packaging that requires beautiful appearance.
Medium bubble film: The bubble diameter is about 10 mm, with good pressure resistance, suitable for the packaging of most items.
Large bubble film: The bubble diameter is 20 mm and above, with better cushioning and shockproof effects, suitable for the packaging of heavy or fragile items.
Classification by specification size:
Ordinary air cushion film: Suitable for the packaging of general items.
Thickened air cushion film: It has high compressive strength and is suitable for the packaging of heavy items.
Ultra-thin air cushion film: Thinner thickness, suitable for the packaging of precision items to avoid scratches.
Extra-wide air cushion film: With a larger width, it is suitable for packaging large items.
These different types of air cushion films have a wide range of applications in the packaging field, covering electronics, instruments, ceramics, handicrafts, household appliances, furniture and other fields, providing excellent pressure-proof, moisture-proof and shock-proof protection.
